Sevilla coach Antonio Alvarez is confident his side can build on their victory against Tenerife last time out when they visit struggling Malaga in the Primera Division.
Alvarez was appointed interim coach at the end of last month after previous incumbent Manolo Jimenez's tenure was ended after seven games without a win.
The team promptly lost their first match under Alvarez 3-0 against Villarreal, but bounced back to defeat Tenerife by the same scoreline, a result which Alvarez believes they can use this weekend.
He told www.sevillafc.es: "We are targeting a good result against Malaga. We continue working and continue to trust the players and raise their self-esteem.
"Sevilla fans have a team in need of three points so that effort will be assured. It is a key game and we shall make it difficult.

"With the quality of our players, if we are 100% we have a good chance of winning.''
Last week's victory lifted Sevilla back into fourth place above Mallorca and boosted confidence ahead of this weekend's Andalusian derby.
Despite recent travails, this could yet be a positive season for Sevilla.
The club has a great chance of sealing fourth place and Champions League qualification, as well as winning the Copa del Rey where they face Atletico Madrid in next month's final.
